If unfortunate enough to be a victim of a fire, dry ice blasting is ideal for the removal of smoke and soot from beams and framing so a structural inspection of the building may be properly assessed. Unlike other alternatives, dry ice blasting can reach even the smallest cracks, creases, and weld joints with minimal effort. Due to the nature of dry ice blasting, there is no secondary waste added when cleaning. Since the building has already undergone a substantial amount of stress, it is also beneficial that dry ice blasting will only remove the soot without harming the underlying structure.
